Vivian Louise Jasso entered her heavenly home on March 22, 2024, following a brief stay at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, FL.

Vivian was born to Marvin and Leona Lanier in Vero Beach, FL on July 13, 1928. She was the oldest of 12 children. She later moved to Winter Haven, Florida, becoming a CNA in the medical field for over 20 years. Along with various other interests, one of her favorite things was fishing with her siblings, Bob and Sue.

Vivian married Joe A. Jasso, Sr., and they raised five children together. She is survived by Joe Jasso, Jr. (Glenda) of Lakeland, FL; Sylvia Mott (Bill) of Ft. Myers, FL; Sharon Blackburn (Wayne) of Lakeland, FL; Kathy Corley (Ed) of McKenzie, AL; Beth Jasso, daughter-in-law of Atlanta, GA; a stepdaughter, Flora Pinon of Deming, NM; three sisters, Sue Lanier of Winter Haven, FL; Janet Lopez of Winter Haven, FL; and Opal Trusskey of Parker, CO. Vivian is also survived by countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and multiple family members who span over almost 96 years.

Vivian was pre-deceased by her husband, Joe A. Jasso; son, Tony Jasso of Atlanta, GA; and stepdaughter, Mary Lou Borrego of Las Cruces, NM. She was also pre-deceased by six sisters and two brothers. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Light of Lights Chapel, Victory Church, 1401 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL. A private family burial is also scheduled.
