Ashley Rhea Bianchi Roberts, age 52, passed away on Monday, November 27th, 2023 in Lakeland, Florida with family and loved ones by her side.

Ashley was born in Lakeland, Florida on June 3rd, 1971 to Mary Ellen Phillips. Ashley grew up in both Lakeland and Plant City, Florida. She spent her early childhood in the Combee Settlement area of Lakeland and attended Combee Elementary. She later moved to Plant City and attended Tomlin Middle School and Plant City High, Class of 1989, where she met many lifelong friends.

Ashley, also known as Rhea to family, loved her children and parents unconditionally. She loved spending time with her family, many friends, and fur babies. She could usually be found at the beach with her toes in the sand, swimming in her pool, or collecting anything with a strawberry or Betty Boop on it. She enjoyed a long career with Publix as a Cafeteria Team Leader for over 18 years until she retired in 2021. Ashley was a best friend to many and will be remembered as a sweet, sassy, and fun-loving woman.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and the love of her life, Michael “Sam” Ellis Phillips, who passed away on April 26, 2023. Ashley and Sam were high school friends and had been companions for the last 11 years. When Ashley opened her eyes in Heaven, she was reunited with Sam and her loved ones, for the love of God brings reunion in Heaven.

She will be missed by those she leaves behind: Her mother and stepfather, Mary and Ollie Lambert, her father, Stephen “Chip” Bianchi, her beloved children, Steven Bianchi, Amanda Roberts, and Karinna Boivin, as well as her brothers, Tim, Mark, and Terry Bianchi, and many loved ones and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 17th, 2023 at her church, New Home Baptist, 901 North Galloway Road, Lakeland, Florida with Pastor Jeff Kidd officiating. Flowers may be sent to the family at New Home Baptist Church.

Condolences may be sent to the family at New Home Baptist Church.
