A smartphone video making the rounds on social media shows a Polk County sheriff's deputy hitting a handcuffed suspect twice during an arrest in Lakeland. The punches were prompted by the suspect spitting in the face of one of the deputies, Sheriff Grady Judd told Fox 13 News. Also jailed was the man who filmed the scuffle; he had an outstanding warrant, deputies said. MORE COVERAGE: News Channel 8 | ABC Action News

  1. I do not blame that Deputy. He should of punched that suspect , with everyone going on with this virus you can’t blame the Deputy

  2. Given wats going on in the world today with Corona virus etc.. getting spit on could be a death sentence... I do hope n pray the officer n his family will be ok.. as far as the suspect he deserves a few more punches...

  3. The horrible diseases such as Aids and other contagious pathogens as well as Coronovirus puts all citizens including law enforcement in terrible line of fire with horrible results. He deserved it and more.
