According to SAMAA TV sources, Meher Bokhari has been sacked from the channel on Wednesday.

On the other hand, sources close to top management of SAMAA TV are saying Zafar Siddiqui, owner of SAMAA TV has took notice of her program after Salman Taseer murder issue. It is also revealed that Zafar
Siddiqui, Chartered Accountant started his professional career in Salman Taseer’s firm and thus, have emotional attachment with his former boss.

There are also rumors that actually PEMRA has pressurized Samaa TV to fire her because of her program on late governor. Recently PEMRA has also fined SAMAA TV due to violation of PEMRA’s guidelines.

According to a blog Pak Media Leaks the anchors were told by the administration of Dunya TV on Sunday that their services are no longer needed by the TV channel.

The blog says that the anchors are most likely to join ARY news channel.

“I am not a headmaster so that you let me sit on chair, when you call a provincial minister then you should also provide him sofa to sit” he said in a very angry mood.

He said that he will never come again if school administration will not provide sofas to sit.

The education minister was heartily invited to attend a workshop organised by government high school Gakoch and funded by Canadian government.

The minister, after not finding Sofas for sitting left the workshop by warning the headmaster to make school clean and buy new furniture.

Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar said that the President who is also Patron of the Cricket Board, taking note of the reports, has directed that he should be kept posted about the developments as to what happened and what is the status of any inquiry that may have been ordered or held in London.

Today publisher of Daily Times and Governor Punjab Salman Taseer created a new record in the history of yellow journalism by publishing a one sided tape drama scandle against me.I would like to remind my journalist colleagues that Salman Taseer published many dirty articles against me in the past when i was banned by Musharraf regime on tv.Today he published the transcript of a concocted tape with some comments on the front page of his newspaper.Yes he tried to kill many birds with one bullet.

This is a conspiracy against me.Khalid Khawaja was assassinated in the month of April and this tape surfaced in the middle of May just few days before some important political and leagal events.I am consulting with my lawyers and i will go into court against Salman Taseer for publishing a one sided concocted story against me.My hands are clear and i have no fear except Allah who have provided me a new opportunity to unmask some more realities in the court of law.

This fabricated tape is part of a bigger drama against journalist community.Some elements want to silence the voice of media on certain national issues by blackmailing journalists like me.These people are very unhappy on those journalists who are raising voice for missing people,who are opposing government stand NRO and who criticized the fake degree holder members of the parliament.Many journalists are disliked by the government and some parts of the establishment.These journalists may become a target one by one.Some government ministers warned me on May 13th that some elements are trying to use the family of Khalid Khawaja against me and journalists like Ansar Abbasi,Kamran Khan and Shahid Masood will also face some new cases.I am sure we will face these kind of fabricated cases with unity.Thanks again for showing solidarity with me.

Sources informed that Aftab also disrespected Azizi (Sohail Ahmed), the heart of the show.

Sources also told that Aftab had also started blackmailing politicians by using the power of his program due to consequences of his deeds he lost the position and CEO of Dunya News by taking a sou motu action terminated Aftab Iqbal.

Zainab, one of the reader of Jazba Blog tried to solve the mystery of the absence of Aftab by saying that Aftab Iqbal left Hasb-e-Haal because of Azizi aka Sohail Ahmed as Aftab believed that Azizi had hijacked his show.

Zainab in her comment said that “Aftab Iqbal had asked the management of Dunya TV to replace Sohail Ahmed with someone else, because according to him, Azizi had hijacked his show.”

Zainab also revealed that having refused by the management; he left the show & Dunya TV.

Quite convincing Zainab, because if Azizi was not a problem then why he and Najia are still happy to continue this program without their lead anchor?

But another reader of Jazba Blog revealed another shocking news about Aftab’s absence.

JDClash said that Aftab was kicked out of Dunya News.

“Who could have liked Aftab Iqbal more than me? I was angrily up, to blast out against his exit from Hasb-e-Haal. But just felt ashamed at what I heard from very credible sources. The dominant Aftab Iqbal threatened the CEO of Dunya news to put the prestige of the channel on stake by ruining the most informative, humorous, fairly-political and widely and happily accepted program “Hasb-e-Haal”. He was never later requested to come back again and rejoin. Tell me what, if a man disrespects the employer over monetary dispute (the most cheap thing), should the employer be considered to call back again that rotten melon? Aftab disrespected Azizi too. Man! Azizi is the heart of the show. Do you think that this could have made the CEO happy?

C’mon Guys… Anchors and hosts are just the face of the channel. The real credit goes to the researchers and hard workers behind the scenes (the heart and brain of the channel) who worked day and night for the success of that show. They shouldn’t get abused, as Aftab tried to do so. The heart of the show “Great Azizi” is still there. Behind the scenes, Azizi is also a victim of Aftab’s arrogance and that’s what the CEO of dunya news really disliked. This show is heavily backed by a huge public demand, and they will never let its taste ruin. Topics of the program are chosen current affairs which attract public interests, which make it an “ever green” show.
