Did Aftab leave Hasb-e-Haal because of Azizi?
A great shock for every single fan of Hasb-e-Haal was a new anchor of the show; the change was un-expected for the fans and they start asking where Aftab is gone? Though a senior journalist had told Jazba Blog earlier that Aftab has left Dunya TV, after some confrontations with the owner of the TV who is an ex Nazim Lahore Mian Aamir, but he did not know what the confrontations were?
Zainab, one of the reader of Jazba Blog tried to solve the mystery of the absence of Aftab by saying that Aftab Iqbal left Hasb-e-Haal because of Azizi aka Sohail Ahmed as Aftab believed that Azizi had hijacked his show.
Zainab in her comment said that “Aftab Iqbal had asked the management of Dunya TV to replace Sohail Ahmed with someone else, because according to him, Azizi had hijacked his show.”
Zainab also revealed that having refused by the management; he left the show & Dunya TV.
Quite convincing Zainab, because if Azizi was not a problem then why he and Najia are still happy to continue this program without their lead anchor?
But another reader of Jazba Blog revealed another shocking news about Aftab’s absence.
JDClash said that Aftab was kicked out of Dunya News.
“Who could have liked Aftab Iqbal more than me? I was angrily up, to blast out against his exit from Hasb-e-Haal. But just felt ashamed at what I heard from very credible sources. The dominant Aftab Iqbal threatened the CEO of Dunya news to put the prestige of the channel on stake by ruining the most informative, humorous, fairly-political and widely and happily accepted program “Hasb-e-Haal”. He was never later requested to come back again and rejoin. Tell me what, if a man disrespects the employer over monetary dispute (the most cheap thing), should the employer be considered to call back again that rotten melon? Aftab disrespected Azizi too. Man! Azizi is the heart of the show. Do you think that this could have made the CEO happy?
C’mon Guys… Anchors and hosts are just the face of the channel. The real credit goes to the researchers and hard workers behind the scenes (the heart and brain of the channel) who worked day and night for the success of that show. They shouldn’t get abused, as Aftab tried to do so. The heart of the show “Great Azizi” is still there. Behind the scenes, Azizi is also a victim of Aftab’s arrogance and that’s what the CEO of dunya news really disliked. This show is heavily backed by a huge public demand, and they will never let its taste ruin. Topics of the program are chosen current affairs which attract public interests, which make it an “ever green” show.

Aftab did not want to replace azizi, he wanted to add more characters like azizi but sohail ahmed refused Aftab’s decision and also said that he could do without aftab so aftab left the show. Aftab still says that if his demand of adding new characters is fulfilled he’ll come back.

Who said that Aftab was an unknown person? He is writing Editorial Column with the title of Hesb-e-Haal, he is chief editor of a Magzine called Hesb-e-Haal and the very program title/ idea and co anchors all were his idea (brain child). What so ever the reason was at least program title belongs to him, Dunya TV should change the Title. And in the end he belongs to a very respectable, educated and well known family of Okara/ Sahiwal area. Please do your home work before bashing anyone.

reality is that, show was just made for Aftab+Azizi any one can not run the show alone….no one can replace them….
For me , Hasbe Haal has lost its viewrship without Aftab Iqbal’s thorough & analytical research since Azizi’s humourous sarcacism on different quarters of the society is the outcome of Aftab Iqbal’s works.
Aftab Iqbal , undoubtedly you were actually Hasbe Haal’s only PILLAR.

Tell me, if Dunya News kicked Aftab out … why did not they announced it right away and replaced him. The reason is simple, they have been trying to get him back … first program :Aftab missing. Second and Third program : canceled. Next week, first program : an old man walks up the studio stairs to join the program. Second program : Junaid Saleem hosting the show …. why did not they brought a new anchor right away ?
This was the MOST rude thing on Dunya News’ part … without even announcing the discontinuation of Aftab Iqbal they replaced the host like it was nothing. They did not gave the slightest consideration to viewership … what the heck is this ?

the character “AZIZI’ is the creation of Aftab Iqbal’s mind. Aftab Iqbal should get his right over that. No doubt he got much too proud of himself, nonetheless, Azizi is his Mind’s creation. So the program should change the name AZIZI to some other name. Keeping the same name Azizi, with different host, is NOT AT ALL “FAIR” with aftab Iqbal……SHAME ON DUNYA NEWS CHANNEL AUTHORITIES,ON SOHAIL AHMED, NAJIA for doing such an act of unfairness.

How can aftab demand to replace the actor Sohail Ah,ed playing Azizi’s character where as Azizi is the only reason the show is a success. So Zainab’s reason is baseless.

Hi guys,There is no doubt that hasb e haal has lost its real blend after Aftab Iqbal( only 5 companies are sponcering the programme at the moment).But ……Aftab cudnt have done it without Azizi more than 2 or 3 shows.Hasb e Haal is still on the top.
I have heard an other story.Aftaab wanted increement.An insider told me ‘ Aftaab was pocketing aik lakh rupies for aik show but wanted more.So guys 16 lakh ruppies per month were not enough for Aftaab bhai.
