Fire at girls hostel Pindi claim 6 lives

At least six female students died and several others were injured on Monday after fire broke out at a girls’ hostel located in Saddar area of Rawalpindi.
The hostel was filled with smoke following the fire, police said. The fire brigade team reached the scene and kickstarted the rescue efforts.
Six girls, Farah Naz, Iqra Naheed, Sobia, Huma Rasheed, Naveeda Mazhar and Atiya have died due to the fire, hospital sources told.
As many as 150 students were present in the hostel when the fire broke out, according to reports.
According to reports fire erupted at room number 314 due to gas leakage.
