Another Marriage Scandal: Firdous Ashiq married two times and has four children: Senate committee told
Federal minister for population welfare Firdous Ashiq Awan who is unmarried is stated to have got issued National Identity Cards (NIC) in the name of her two husbands and 4 children.
During the meeting of senate standing committee on interior, chairman of the committee senator Talha Mehmood disclosed federal minister Firdous Ashiq Awan from PPP who was unmarried but she had obtained NIC in the names of his two husbands namely Aziz ur Rehman and Jan Mohammad from NADRA. Likewise NICs have also been issued in the names of four children of the unmarried federal minister. The names of her children are Ibrar Ashiq, Usman Ashiq, Shazia Bibi and Faisal Aziz.
This disclosure had led to create speculations in the legislators circle about this scandal of unmarried federal minister.
It was also told during the meeting that NICs had been issued in names of 8 children of Malik Ibrar, MNA from PML-N while he was stated to have four children
Chairman standing committee had sought details from NADRA in respect of these two cases saying as to how NADRA had made two husbands and 4 children of its record in respect of federal minister when she was unmarried.
