Earthquake of 4.2 magnitude hits Quetta, adjoining areas

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on Richter scale has hit Quetta and its adjoining areas.

According to media reports epicentre of quake was located 95 kilometers northwest of Quetta near Pak-Afghanistan border with a focal depth of 11 kilometers. People rushed out of their homes in panic reciting Kalima Tayyaba. However no loss of life and property has been reported so far.

Quake struck in the wee hours of Wednesday.
