ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided to resign from all the assemblies other than provincial assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to details, a meeting of the PTI core committee was held here during which senior leadership held prolonged consultation on the political situation of the country, after which it decided to resign from the National Assembly and the provincial assemblies of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
Talking to media after the meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi showed the resignations of all the PTI members and said that PTI will now do the politics on public issues. He said that we will make this campaign a success story.
The PTI leader however told that consultation is underway regarding the dissolution of KPK Assembly, adding, “It is a coalition government there and we need to consult our allies prior to making such a decision”.
