Four blasts rocked Quetta, 4 dead, 37 hurt


QUETTA: At least four people were killed among a FC personnel and more than 37 sustained injuries in four blasts in different parts of the city on Tuesday night.

Media reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up at Nichari Road when FC intercepted an explosive laden car, which left three dead among one FC personnel and injured several others.

In another incident of blast a bomb was planted on a cycle, which left one dead and injured more than ten people. The injured have been rushed to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. 

Five other people were injured in another incident of bomb blast at Killi Shabo area of Quetta after a bomb planted in a Nullah exploded. There were no fatalities reported.

One person was injured in another blast in Gurdat Singh road area of Quetta after a road side bomb exploded. Police said that the target of the blast was not immediately known.
Electricity supply was disrupted and firing started in different areas.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Baroozai took serious notice of the coordinated blasts and ordered security to be further strengthened in and around Quetta.
