ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday predicted that most parts of the country are likely to remain under grip of icy winds which may fall temperature during next three to four days.
According to media reports, cold weather conditions are likely to persist for next few days. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of Punjab and federal capital and Sindh during next 24 to 48 hours.
However, most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will remain under the grip of cold wave conditions during next few days.
The lowest minimum temperature was recorded minus 13øC at Kalat and Tuesday’s minimum temperatures were Islamabad zero C, Quetta minus 9 C, Parachinar minus 12 C, Kalam minus 8 C, Malam Jabba minus 7 C, Astore, Gopis and Dir minus 6 C and Murree minus 5 C.
