ISLAMABAD: FIA has begun the planning to apprehend Mansoor Ijaz, the main character of memogate scandal on his arrival to Pakistan as the agency has prepared the draft for registering the case against him.

The sources told Online that statement of Mansoor Ijaz would be made base for registering the case against him in which he confessed about his role in toppling down the Benazir’s government.

Earlier Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik also gave statement before media on16 January that Mansoor Ijaz would be arrested after registering the case on him and complete investigation would be made against him.

However on 16 January, Akram Sheikh requested the judicial commission to provide security to Mansoor Ijaz .On Saturday, Sheikh also asked army to give security to Ijaz. The senior lawyer expressed his apprehensions if police or Ministry of Interior would be given the task to provide him security then it is possible that the evidences of the memogate case might be snatched from him.
