US prevent Mike Tyson to visit Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The US State Department did not allow former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson for his tour to Pakistan in order to participate in the 2nd Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Tournament on Wednesday.

Mike Tyson had to attend the inaugural ceremony but now he has postponed his visit to Pakistan upon the invitation of Pakistan Boxing Federation.

According to details he had not get security clearance from intelligence agencies to travel to Pakistan; therefore, he ruled out Tyson’s participation in the event’s opening ceremony is not possible.

However, it is expected that Tyson may attend the closing ceremony of the mega event.
