Unemployment: Gold medalist doctor commits suicide

SWABI: Young Danish Nawaz a gold medalist veterinary doctor committed suicide after losing every hope of getting a good job to serve his family.

According to a media report, Danish was unhappy from his life as despite his utmost efforts, he failed to get a government job.

His father told that Danish was really upset from the last one month and was cursing himself for not able to support his family.

“I always told him that we don’t need anything from him, but he was a really self-respecting person so he took his life by thinking that he becomes a burden on us” said his old father Ameer Nawaz.

Ameer, requested government to provide employment options to youngsters as his son left but he doesn’t want this to happen with anyone else.

The deceased Dr. Danish’s friend said that Danish did his graduation from Zarai University and after that he tried his best to get a government job but he failed.

“He started to feel a burden on his family” his friend said.

His friend also disclosed that a contract lecturer post was vacant in the University but despite the rules to give this post to gold medalist, the post was given to the daughter of Dean’s driver.
