ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that he would leave politics instead of betraying President Asif Ali Zardari and his party.

In an exclusive interview on Dunya TV’s third birthday, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that he would leave politics instead of betraying the party.

The prime minister cut the cake on Dunya News’ third anniversary in Islamabad bureau office. In his interview, he said that the person who has written the memo was not trustworthy who had shocked the whole country. Hussain Haqqani had resigned for fair trial, he said.

The prime minister said that Mansoor Ijaz had written a lot about Army Chief and DG ISI. To a question that ‘something black in lentil’ in memo issue, the prime minister said that the lentil was made black in this matter.

Gilani said that he went to the helipad to see president off and the president said that Bilawal would stay with him. Responding to a question regarding Nawaz Sharif’s blame not to unveil assassins of Benazir, Gilani said that this matter was in court now.

The prime minister expressed that he welcomed the criticism very positively and would take it positively in future also. Gilani admitted that law and order, power crisis, PIA and Railways were biggest challenges. Price hike is the problem of Pakistan only rather it is a global problem, he said.
