Lahore: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has announced to allocate RS70 million to each PPP MPA in Punjab, PPP sources said Saturday.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani made the announcement during the PPP parliamentary party meting in Governor House.

The leadership of PPP has decided to warm up political activities on provincial level and to take members into confidence on memo issue.

In meeting of parliamentary party, members also discussed the initiation of ‘Wafaq Bachao’ movement. Members Punjab assembly and federal minister from Punjab are also attending the meeting.

According to sources, the members of Punjab Assembly burst out in the meeting against bureaucracy. They demanded to provide job quota for their brothers and sons. PPP members also asked prime minister to issue them arm licenses. Later, the prime minister has accepted the demand to issue arm licenses to MPAs.
