ISLAMABAD: Pakistani authorities have finally suspended vital NATO supply routes into Afghanistan after NATO’s blatant and unacceptable strike resulted in loss of precious lives of Pakistani soldiers.

As many as 28 Pakistani troops have been killed when NATO helicopters and fighter jets attacked two military outposts in northwest Pakistan on Friday night.

According to media reports Pakistan has retaliated by shutting down vital NATO supply routes into Afghanistan, used for sending in almost half of the alliance’s non-lethal materiel.
