ISLAMABAD: The 134th birth anniversary of poet philosopher Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal is being observed today all over the country.

The main event will be held at Mazar-E-Iqbal in Lahore where Pakistan fresh guards will assume duties at the Mazar.

Cultural, educational and literary organizations have chalked out different programmes to mark the day in a befitting manner and pay homage to the great poet who envisioned the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of subcontinent.
