ISLAMABAD: A magnitude-6.3 earthquake struck federal capital, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and other parts of country triggering panic among people who were busy celebrating the first day of Eid ul Adha.

According to the initial report, quake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Charsadda, Shangla, Hazara, Nohshera, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chakwal, Swat, Bajaur Agency, Lower Dir, Malakand among various other areas.
