KASUR: President of PMLN Changa Manga Rana Shoukat has been burnt to death while he was sleeping at his residence here in Kasur.

Police, who arrived on the scene in heavy contingents reports that the PML-N leader succumbed to his serious burns, while his son informed that the family only became aware in the morning, when his son approached the bed of the deceased, which had been doused in kerosene oil.

The son was at a loss to explain the reason for the murder, whether it was politically motivated, or was due to some other reason.

It was also discovered that prior to the tragic incident, some unknown/un-identified visitors had visited him.

Police has shifted the burnt dead body to Chonian hospital, while PML-N activists and supporters have lodged a strong protest over the issue, demanding immediate arrest of responsible elements.
