Yes Zardari Yes: MQM to hold rally on Sunday

KARACHI: After Sindh government decision to lift Ban on public gatherings, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) announced that they will hold a rally tomorrow on Sunday to express solidarity with President Asif Ali Zardari.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain while talking to general workers meeting on Saturday said that the rally has been called in protest to the use of unparliamentary language against President Asif Ali Zardari during Shahbaz Sharif’s speech.

He invited all the religious and political parties to take part in MQM’s rally.

Punjab chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in his speech to PML-N anti-government rally on Friday, said that President Zardari should must resign from the post as he (Zardari) is responsible for country’s bad situation.

Earlier on Saturday, the Sindh government lifted the ban on public rallies and processions in the metropolis for two days Sindh government Saturday issued two notifications regarding ban on public gatherings in the metropolis.

The Home Department had imposed ban on rallies and processions on September 28.

According to a Home Department notification, the ban will now be effective from October 31.
