ISLAMABAD: Ayesha Ahad Malik, who claims to be the wife of Hamza Sharif, son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan for justice.

Addressing a press conference at National Press Club, Islamabad, on Thursday, she blamed the influential businessmen and former Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Sharif and former IG Rana Maqbool are threatening to kill or kidnap her.

She said, “I am the daughter of the nation and I am being accused because I am wife of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.” She added, “Is this the reason that a case was filed against me in Racecourse Police Station, Lahore, police grabbed my sister and mother with hair and cussed them.”

She added further that journalists were trying to bring her before media for more than a month but circumstances were not letting her do so.

Ayesha Malik is the daughter of ex PML-Q leader and film producer Ahad Malik, who was a former MPA of PML-N. Ayesha Ahad Malik is also known as Ayesha Iqbal. She wept while holding Holy Quran in her hands before media men. She said that she and her family were trapped in the fake cases but still ‘I feel ashamed before media.’

She expressed, “Uncle Nawaz and Aunty Kalsoom are consoling me,” whereas Ali Imran, owner of Yousaf Ali Trade Centre, former Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Khwaja Sharif and Rana Maqbool are passing on life-threats. She received threatening messages from unknown numbers before press conference “Don’t arrange press conference, otherwise, you would be killed.”
