Wanted terrorist Janat Gul killed in police encounter

RISALPUR: Wanted terrorist and Taliban Commander Jamal Uddin (Janat Gul) was killed in police encounter in Akora Khattak area of Risalpur here on Friday.

According to details, police got tip off about the presence of this dangerous terrorist group in Akora Khattak. The SHO Akora Khattak police station Ajmair Shah established a police team in order to conduct an operation in this area. This terrorist group opened indiscriminate fire on the police force when they reached this area. Exchange of fire between police and this terrorist group continued for almost half an hour.

Police started a search operation after this exchange of firing, during which a dead body was recovered from the area, this dead body has been identified as Jamal Uddin (Janat Gul) s/o Siraj Uddin Sakana resident of Shahbaz Colony Jaronda Road, House no. 1 District Kohat. Police also recovered two hand grenade, one Kalashinkov, bullets and a charger from there.

This terrorist was wanted in Kohat and Peshawar in various cases. A case has been filed in the Akora Khattak police station angst this terrorist, and police have started further investigations as well.
