Hajj flights 2011: Ministry fails to finalize Hajj flights

ISLAMABAD: Despite ten days left for commencement of Hajj operations, the federal ministry for religious Affairs has failed to announce Hajj flights’ schedule.
This lapse on behalf ministry occurs despite tall claims of federal religious minister about readying the flights’ schedule, a situation which is really troublesome for Hajj pilgrims as they had to maker necessary preparations for the occasions.
Meanwhile all public / private department employees are also faced with a similar dilemma of arranging for their official leaves and other Hajj preparations.
When contacted the PIA authorities have rather redirected all responsibility over ministry of religious affairs, as any finalization of the operation coming from ministry would have PIA map its Hajj schedule.
It should be noted that ministry of religious affairs had assured that Hajj schedule would be finalized until Aug 15, which had overlapped by a whole month’s time.
The spokesman of ministry of Religious affairs, Hafiz Sher Ali has announced that Hajj flight schedule was ready and pilgrims were being posted the details.
He has also pacified, that a small difference of delays in arrivals, departures of flights would not make any harmful impact on Hajj schedule.
Update Sep, 27, 2200 PM: The government has decided that the hajj pilgrims can only go from Saudi Airline, PIA and Shaheen Airlines. No other airlines will be used for hajj operations.

My hajj application No. 200903-4 we r in troublenot received our flight dates.we heared 1st flight is strated from islamabad on 29th september 2011,we are living in a far flung area of balochistan.post cards delivery very late.our departure place is karachi.please inform us our flight programme urgently thanks Abdul Karim
