Vice principle Riphah University killed by student

RAWALPINDI: A student of Islamic International medical college Tuesday shot dead Vice Principal – Administration Riphah University Brig. (R) Sanaullah Khan here, officials said.
According to media reports the incident took place at the university campus situated on Peshawar Road where a final year medical student identified as Khuram Shehzad hailing from Rahim Yar Khan opened fire on Sanaullah which resulted in his immediate death.
The murderer later tried to escape but security guard captured and handed over him to police who rushed to the site soon after the incident took place.
The accused has been shifted to AR Bazar police station while the body of the deceased Vice Principle was transferred to District Hospital Rawalpindi for postpartum.
Sources said that student considered that vice principal was behind his failure in examination.
The College Administration has decided to close the college on Wednesday in mourning meanwhile Quran-Khwani would be held in mosque of the college in this connection.
This is very sad and unfortunate. There must be an effective mechanism to entertain students’ grievances and to sort out the issues. This also depicts the rising trend of firing and shooting in the rather peaceful city of Rawalpindi. There was too much firing on the citing of Eid moon as well, which I never heard during the last forty years in this city. Who is responsible to curtail this? I don’t know.
Perhaps parents should keep an eye on the activities of their kids, and give them comfort if the exam results are not up to the mark. They can perform better if they try hard for the next time.
I am being in riphah for 5 years. Managment is really poor. Student spend soo much of money there and Administrators never listen to them. There are few more bustared here that derserve the same. My Sympathies are with Khuraam Shahzad. They all have to think what they are doing with the students.
Bobby- You are as sick as Khurram! Maybe you don’t fear Allah SWT. The school needs to keep an eye on you – maybe you’re failing as well:/ If it was one of your relatives, maybe you would think/feel different.
This is really irrecoverable loss for the college and now all the student will confused about above
