Karachi Situation: Go from Neepa come back on Chipa

KARACHI: Exchange of SMS about “65 ki Pepsi, Fraz and Zubaida Appa” might not be surprising for us but have anyone thought that these genius SMS writers can create funny lines about the current Karachi situation?
Perhaps yes, as some genius SMS writers did create few funny lines which are more like a jolly criticism on the current Karachi situation where each day, many people lost their lives in target killing incidents in different parts of the city.
Firing incidents in Neepa, the area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, have become routine so one of the SMS that has circulated is about this area which is “Jao Neepa sey aao Chipa sey”
Chiapa is a welfare organisation that provides free ambulance service to the citizens of Karachi. From the last few years the service has become famous for its quick response.
The SMS writers have also used the names of some poets. One other SMS says “Karachi k Halat tou itny Kharab hein Faraz, jo ghar phunch gya vo Sikandar, aur jo na phunch saka vo bori k ander”.
One of the recent Indian movie, that got famous in Pakistan was Salman Khan’s Dabang in which the lead actress had said “Sahib Thaper sey nai Piar sey Dar lagta hey”. This dialogue has narrated and takes new shape in Karachi which is “Sahib goli sey nai bori sey dar lagta hey”.
In 90’s when Karachi had faced the same situation, poets written few lines and one of them was “daikh ker Karachi kay halaat Kutey nein Kutey sey kaha, Bhag jao werna Insan ki moot mara jaye ga”. (Translated story of Riaz Sohail BBC Urdu)
