ISLAMABAD : People living near the airport have been asked to be vigilant following an intelligence report that airports could be targeted by terrorists.

Airport Security Force are collecting data of the people living near the airport after an alert was sounded by intelligence agencies warning of possible terrorist attacks.

It has been told that people have been asked to be extra careful and vigilant while police has cordoned off various areas.

With the help of Police, stringent security measures are underway in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities while a special formula has been prepared in which people living near the airport in residential areas have been asked to complete documents regarding family, religion, business, martial status, children and other details.
