ADB to give 36.8m $ to overcome energy crises

ISLAMABAD: Asian Development Bank’s (ADP) report revealed that Pakistan’s financial progress had to face huge loss due to acute load shedding and announced to give 36.8 million $ aid by keeping in view the prevailing energy crises in the country.
The aid would be utilize to install substitute energy projects under which a wind power plant would be established with a capacity of 56.4 mega watts of electricity. A Turkish firm Zorlo Energy would set up the plant with the financial assistance of ADB.
After the completion of project five more energy projects would be completed immediately to safe Pakistan from financial hardships.
