Karachi: Four people died while many sustained injuries as a five-storey residential building collapsed in Karachi, rescue team said.
According to Chhipa rescue services, a 5-storey residential building at Mossa lane, an area of Liyari was collapsed due to unknown reasons where several people buried under debris.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after incident took place and three injured people were recovered form wreckage of collapsed building and shifted them to nearby hospitals. Two people including a girl have been killed.
Source said many people were stranded in the rubble who have been tried to be recovered, officials expressed fear of mass casualties because of this misshape.
