From Coke Studio Pakistan to Joke Studio India

“f#@$ Leslie Lewis…horrible arrangement…sounds like a wedding band party” this is just a one comment out of other comments on Coke Studio @ MTV’s song “Humein Toh Loot Liya – Sabri Brothers”
Here is another comment on same video saying “Complete waste of time, I guess if coke studio takes out Leslie out of it everything will start falling into place” opsss!
This is not the only video which receives criticism comments for Leslie but almost all Coke Studio @ MTV music videos have comments which either say “horrible arrangement” or demanding him “out from the Coke Studio team”.
Now (thank God) i seriously never heard about Leslie Lewis before so i googled him to find out who he is and i came to know that Janab Sahib is an Indian composer and he is best known for his work in Colonial Cousins, a duo composed of Lewis and Hariharan (whatever it is). But seriously i don’t understand what the hell he was thinking while composing Coke Studio Music he did so far? I mean seriously Lewis you made Coke Studio a Joke Studio yar.
I think that Lewis got over confident on this. He might have thought “What the hell Coke Studio, we got a lot of talent here in India, we don’t need to do much, singers like KK, Khilash and Suno will come and the show will get hit automatically” What he might forgot that competition this time wasn’t easy. It wasn’t like comparing Lollywood and Bollywood movies but it was about Coke Studio Pakistan vs Coke Studio India and Coke Studio Pakistan has already produced historical music in Pakistan. (isn’t it, i guess it is)
Okay lets not call this a competition its just like that i am expecting a good music from Indian Coke Studio which i could able to listen again and again for at least next one or two years which, as yet, doesn’t seem like happening at all.
There is only one question which just came in my mind (forgive me for my conspirative thinking) “is this all a deliberate act from this Indian composer to show a bad picture of Pakistan made Coke Studio in India?” i mean i am sorry if i am wrong and no offense but this can be, because Coke Studio is a Pakistani brand and popularity of Paki brand in India might be hard for Indian musician group to swallow. May be i am wrong but the quality of music produced in Indian Coke Studio doesn’t make any sense to me.
Oh God i made so much criticism on Coke Studio India, how bad and rude i am. But guess what? there are videos that got appreciation (a little ) from the viewers on youtube. Yes guys! only those videos in which Lewis did not experiment his amazingly stupid music skills, got appreciation from the viewers (lol). Sorry Lewis no offense Pa Ji.
LOL…I havent heard that but The Way it is presented here simply made me to laugh.and offcourse am not gonna waste my time in watching it
For your kind information “Coke Studio is a Pakistani brand” it is not.. The programme originated in Brazil as “Coco Cola Studio”. I think Indian choose wrong person or get over confident and didn’t do any hard work on it. They have rich culture and I am sure if they had put some head into it, they can come with something good. Its horrible this time.. better luck next time
CORRECT, GET UR FACTS STRAIGHT BRO, COKE STUDIO IS NOWHERE A PAKISTANI BRAND. COKE STUDIO IS A BRAIN CHILD OF COKE N NO NATION, NOT EVEN BRAZIL, THATS WHERE IT TOOK OFF. THEY JUST GOT A WRONG GUY TO DO IT, AND I HOPE U KNOW THAT THE FIRST SEASON OF COKE STUDIO PAKISTAN DID AVERAGE TOO. GIVE IT SOME TIME MATE…..
