Ramadan Moon sighted in KPK, first fast on 1st August

PESHAWAR: In a meeting of local Ruet-i-Hilal Committee held at Jamia Masjid Qasim, it has said that the Ramazan moon has been sighted in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and the first fast will be on August 01, 2011.

The meeting was presiding by Mufti Shahab-ud-Din, who said that the decision has been taken after they received nine witnesses who claimed they have seen the moon.

On the other hand the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee will meet on Monday to decide about the sighting of the Ramazan moon.
