LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has extended the date for the submission of applications for Yellow Cab Scheme till August 15, 2011.

The CM has also lessened the required educational qualification from FA to Matric. Meanwhile, the condition to have a year’s old valid driving license was also taken back. Now anyone having just a valid license is eligible to apply for the yellow cab scheme.
