Shab-e-Barat to to be observed on Sunday

LAHORE: Shab-e-Barat, a night of blessings will be observed with all the reverence and sanctity on the night of Sunday to invoke the blessings of Almighty Allah and seek his forgiveness.

The religious celebrations and special prayers however will start from Tuesday night.

Special arrangements have been made at mosques for special prayers and Nawafil. Faithful will also illuminate mosques and visit graveyards to offer fateha for the departed souls of their near and dear ones.

Meanwhile, the police have made elaborate security arrangements to ensure safety of the faithful at all the mosques and imambargahs.
