MQM to rejoin govt soon: Govt sources

KARACHI: Government functionaries have claimed that matters between MQM and government have been settled and MQM will rejoin government soon.
MQM on the other hand has said talks are underway but both sides have not reached any final decision.
Government sources said last nigh telephonic conversation between President Asif Ali Zardari and Altaf Hussain had proved turning point and matters had been resolved between the two parties.
Government sources told talks between the two parties were in final stage and matters would be finalized soon. Conditions set by MQM have been accepted and MQM rejoining the government would take place in two phases. In first phase Ishrat ul Ibad would assume the charge of his office.
MQM sources while confirming the reports about talks have said dialogue process has not reached any conclusion.
This is a healthy sign for Pakistan as this will only improve the situation. Both parties should sit down and solve their problems. They should make strategies to counter the recent wave of terror in Karachi.
