Imran-Jemima still in touch on twitter

ISLAMABAD : To remain update with each other’s activities, the two former lovers Imran Khan and Jemima Khan are following each other on world’s famous social network site, twitter.
According to details Imran Khan, who joined twitter, last year, has 70 thousand followers whereas he himself following only three people, one of them is his ex-wife Jemima. On the other hand Jemima has 75 thousand followers and she is following 83 people including Imran Khan.
Although there is no evidence from them to tag each other’s name during status updates but by following each other both of them are constantly monitoring each other’s activities, the report says.
Jemima and Imran got married in 1995. In 1999, in an accusation believed to have been politically motivated, Imran was charged in Pakistan with the non-bailable crime of illegally exporting tiles claimed to be centuries-old antiques of the Islamic era.
Jemima, at that time left Pakistan and stayed with her mother for a year due to fear of incarceration. She returned to Pakistan after the case was dropped following General Pervez Musharraf’s military coup. She then shifted to the UK full-time in September 2003 to study for a Masters degree at SOAS.
In 2004 both announced their divorce. Explaining divorce Imran Khan had said that they decided to divorce because he never had time for his family owing to his life in Pakistani politics.
It has said that Social Media brings people together but will this happen in Imran-Jemima case, no body knows.
