35 personalities enjoying Rangers security, squad

ISLAMABAD: Squad of Rangers has been appointed for the security of 35 important personalities including President, PM, Army House Rawalpindi, two journalists and Chief Justice.
According to a list presented before the Public Accounts Committee from the Interior Ministry 35 personalities including President, PM, Army House Rawalpindi, two journalists Mohsin Naqvi, Hassan Nisar and Chief Justice have been provided ranger squad for security on the basis of intelligence reports.
According to the list, Riaz Malik owner of Bahria Town, is provided ranger squad in Lahore while Interior Minister Brother Khalid Malik is also provided rangers security.
Punjab Rangers are appointed on 26 places and on security of important personalities who in anyway are facing threat from various terrorist organizations.
According to the list Rangers security and squad has been provided to Political secretary to President Asif Ali Zardari Rukhsana Bangish, Trade Minister Amin Fahim, Supreme Court, Residence of Army Chief, PM House, Zardari House Islamabad, Sister of President Faryal Talpur, Speaker NA, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Judges Colony, ANP President Asfand Yar Wali, Ministers Colony, Chief Secretary House Gilgit, PM House Defense, Director FIA Zafar Qureshi, Former DG Pakistan Rangers Maj. Gen (Retd) Hussain Mehdi, CJP Iftikhar CH, Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan and Saudi Embassy, former law minister Babar Awan, PM son Abdul Qadir Gilani, Defense Minister Ch Ahmed Iftikhar in Gujrat and Lahore and an unknown former Punjab Governor,.
According to Interior Ministry, Pakistan Rangers Sindh is deployed with the President even in Karachi. Sindh Rangers would accompany PM whenever he visits Hyderabad. Similarly Sindh Rangers would provide security to Chairman Senate Farooq H Naek, Speaker Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza, Dr Abdul Qadeer and CJP whenever they are in Karachi.
