LAHORE: Renowned poet and lyricist Khawaja Pervaiz died in Lahore after prolonged illness on Monday.
As per media reports, Khwaja Pervaiz was suffering from diabetes for last few days. He was admitted to the Mayo Hospital. He died on Monday. it is to be kept in mind that he wrote thousands of songs which were sung by Ma’am Noor Jahan, Mehdi Hassan including others. His several songs acquired great fame among masses.
