Woman gives birth to four at HFH

RAWALPINDI: A woman from Hazro, Nahid, 28, Thursday gave birth to four babies, three boys, one girl at the Holy Family Hospital to the joy of the family and the gynecology, obstetrics ward.
According to Dr. Nasira, Incharge of the gynecology ward, there was a slight complication in the beginning but later everything went smoothly.
It is a normal delivery, a normal but rare delivery, and mother and the babies are doing well,” said Dr Nasira.
The babies are normal and there is nothing to worry about. The hospital staff is looking after the mother and the kids, she told Nahid who belongs to a Pakhtun family told her husband Akram had gone to the US a couple of months ago and her In laws had brought her to the hospital on Tuesday.
Happy with her ‘maiden delivery’ Nahid said Akram was constantly in touch with her and her family was also with her. “He was beside himself with joy when he came to learn that he fathered four kids. He would be soon with us for celebrations,” said the beaming Nahid.
