ISLAMABAD: Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Wajid Ali Durrani, has been appointed Sindh IG here on Wednesday night.

According to notification, he was replaced former Sindh IG Police, Fayaz Leghari, who was removed on the orders of Supreme Court.

It is worth mentioning here that Durrani also served as DIG Traffic Karachi and DIG Special Branch. He was appointed as IG Islamabad tenth months back; however his services have been given back to Sindh.

DIG Islamabad will take the additional charge of IG.
