Sitar-e- Shujaat conferred on martyred guard of Silk Bank

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has conferred martyred Security Guard Maqbool Ahmed with Sitar-e- Shujaat urging such attacks will not destabilize country.
At least one person was killed and three injured in a suicide blast inside a bank in Sector I-8 of Federal Capital. A suicide bomber blew himself up outside a Private bank in Sector I-8 when stopped by a Security Guard Maqbool Ahmed.
The security guard died in the blast. He opine that entire capital has been envelope with security blanket adding 1100 terrorist bids have been foiled while entire sector I-8 has been cordoned off after the blast.
He strongly condemned the blast and expressed profound grief over the lost of precious human lives. Denouncing the blast, the Minister said it was highly barbaric to shed the blood of innocent people. He said that terrorists wanted to create instability and spread terror in the country but they would not be allowed to succeed in their evil designs.
Reiterating the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and extremism, the Minister said that the perpetrators of this cowardly act would soon be taken to task.
He further added that at the moment country is in a state of war.



It is unfortunate, how these monsters have been targeting innocent civilians. There is no legitimacy in their actions and they should be eradicated. The guard laid down his life to save many others, he is a true martyr.
