ISLAMABAD: After confirmed reports from the intelligence agencies that terrorist have used Google maps to plan their attack on naval air base PNS Mehran, the government is considering to block the site before any further incident occurs.

Reliable sources informed Jazba Blog, that intelligence agencies have been informed that the terrorist groups are getting help by accessing Google images to make their targets achievable in the country. Sources said that the group attacked on naval base have also used Google satellite images to plot their attack inside the naval base.

Sources further said that Google right now is providing detailed information about sensitive areas of the country which can only be stopped by blocking the Google images site. Keeping this in view, the government now has decided to ban Google maps service in the country. Sources also informed that this ban will be a temporary ban but no time frame will be given that when the ban from Google maps will be lifted.

On Sunday night at around 10:30 pm Taliban gunmen armed with rockets and explosives stormed a naval air base PNS Mehran destroying two US-made surveillance aircraft and killing seven personnel. Defence analysts believe that the terrorist used Google satellite images to plot this attack and make their targets achievable.

  1. i think we should just tell the americans to come and help us. otherwise im afraid it will be to late as the situation is just getting worse and we need to solve this problem right away. They attacked our navy and i believe we dont have the firepower to deal with these terrorists.

  2. Banning Google maps will produce no result. It is the growing influence of extremist elements, which has to be changed.

    1. You are so right Awais Khan. The ideology has to be fought.
