IPOH: Pakistan qualified for the final match of Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament by beating the host Malaysia on Saturday.

Pakistan defeated Malysia by 3-2 in their penultimate round-robin league match to enter the final of the Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament.

Shakil Ahmed, Sohail Abbas and Muhammad Waqar scored each goal for their team.
Pakistan advanced to the final after 2004 and would face five times champion Australia in the conclusion match.

Earlier on Thursday World champions Australia defeated Great Britain 2-1 to enter the final of the Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament.
