Moeen Akhtar Died

KARACHI: Famous Pakistani actor Moeen Akhtar died in Karachi at the age of 61. He was suffering from the heart disease from the last couple of years.

According to his family sources he felt a sudden pain in heart at afternoon and was taken to hospital where he could recovered and died.

The media reports said that Akhtar died as a result of heart complications. He had undergone heart surgery.

He born in December 24 1950, had been awarded the Pride of Performance and Sitar-e-Imtiaz awards.

Moeen Akhtar, started his career in 1966 with a variety show, and before long became a face familiar across the nation for acting on TV, movies, stage and theatre, hosting of variety shows, and humorous impersonations of famous personalities (including actors Muhammad Ali, Waheed Murad, Dilip Kumar, and singers Mehdi Hasan and Ahmad Rushdi).

There ain’t be a single Pakistani who doesn’t know about Moeen Akhtar. He was never known as an ordinary actor but a legend in the entertainment industry of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that from the past one months Pakistani entertainment industry has lost three of its famous and well known actors Liaqat Soldier, Mastana and Babu Baral.

    it is so sad that pakistan lose a great legend person which live in the hearts of pakistanies
    may god give him place in haven and ME and my family (sonia, ashwani, ajay )always pray for him and his family that god give them paisions and bles them always
