I bet not a single Pakistani news reporter can do this

There is a saying “putting your hand in lion’s mouth” and this has been demonstrated by an American journalist. But before you look around for answer that what exactly he did, let me explain one thing. If you are not a reporter then you must need to know that in journalism there is a term called “off the record” talk. And ethically, a journalist is bound not to publish anything which is supposed to be “off the record”.
In Pakistan every political leader from top ranked to lower normally does this talk with reporters but he requests (in other word warns) them not to publish this report or news, whatever he is telling you, to their newspapers and TV channels. One of the example of this is that when wikileaks started revealing about Pakistan that what our COAS said about Zardari and what Zardari said about India, majority of our Journalist community already knew what wikileaks revealed. The only difference was that Pakistani reporters never dare to publish anything like this.
The reason of not publishing “leaks” can be anything but lets not discuss that and see what an American Journalist did with the world’s most powerful person the American President Barack Hussain Obama and compare this with Pakistani press and imagine if a Pakistan journalist does someone like this with his President “tou phir us ka kia hota kalia” what would have happened to him?
