ISLAMABAD: Famous television and stage actor Liaqat Soldier died of a heart attack during the shooting of a morning show on local TV channel on Thursday.

According to details Liaqat, 56 was guest in morning show when during the break he suffered a severe heart attack. He was immediately taken towards the hospital but he could not make it and died before reaching their.

He was laid to rest in Dhobi Ghat graveyard. His funeral prayer was attended by large number of people including his stage and television fellows.

Liaqat, started his career in 1972 and since then he had worked more than five hundred television programs. He was also playing a major role in Umer Sharif’s recent program Behropia.

Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, grieved over the death of the legend actor. They lauded the invaluable contributions of late Liaqat Soldier to the field of performing art which would be long remembered.
