ISLAMABAD: The Intelligence Agencies have warned the government that the extremists Hindu organizations could target the national cricket team while no compromise should be made on security of the national team.
According to security sources, Pakistani team has beaten West Indies in quarter final and qualified for semi final and the semi final would be held in India. The Intelligence Agencies have warned the government that the Hindu extremists organizations could target the national cricket team.
Sources said that Hindu extremist team Shiv Sina has warned the Pakistan that it would target the team if they would come in India to play World Cup. In wake of the threat it has been proposed to send two security officials with the national team to avert any untoward situation before semifinal of the world cup.
Sources further told that Intelligence Agencies said no compromised should be made on national team’s security while the cricketers should limit their activities. (online)
