ISLAMABAD: The result of Central Superior Services (CSS) examinations held this year under the auspices of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is likely to be announced in the last quarter of the current calendar year.
This year some 13500 candidates were registered with FPSC for CSS exams 2011 but out of these, approximately 9500 candidates appeared in the examination with the ratio of 75 percent appearance rate.
After the result of written test, a procedure would be adopted for the selection of suitable candidates on the vacant posts of BPS-17 in 12 different groups including Office Management Group(OMG), District Management Group(DMG), Police Services of Pakistan (PSP), Audit and Accounts, Income Tax, Customs , Information, Foreign Services, Postal, Railways , Commerce & Trade and Military Land and Cantonments.
The candidates who would qualify the written test would be called for interview. After interview the psychological test viva voice would be held. Those candidates, who will pass entire series of tests, would be inducted by the end of this year in government service after medical test.
