Hamid Kazmi indicates to quit the party

ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi has decided to quit the PPP due to maltreatment of party leaders and soon he would hold a meeting with Shah Mehmood Qureshi to finalize his future strategy.

As per details, Hamid Saeed Kazmi indicated to leave the PPP and final announcement is expected from him within next few days.

According to sources, he decided to quit the PPP when the party left him alone in Hajj corruption scandal and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani stopped his Rs 80 million development funds.

He would meet with Mehmood Qureshi and the two leaders would keep a side the PPP and adopt their political strategy.

It may be noted that Kazmi did not attend the public gathering of the prime minister in Multan on Sunday and not people from his constituency took part in it.

Meanwhile, Hamid Kazmi said that he was involved in the Hajj corruption case despite the FIA has no evidence in this regard, adding that it has damaged his political status.

He said that the real culprits of the Hajj corruption case was being saved and he noted that the PPP left him alone at this critical time which really hart him.
