Army Helicopter makes emergency landing in fields

Rescue workers are busy in their work after an army aviation helicopter made an emergency landing near the Burma bridge in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Army Aviation Helicopter made an emergency landing due to some technical fault near the federal capital. Everyone on board the helicopter remained safe.

On Thursday an Army Aviation helicopter soon after taking off from Qasim Helipad developed some technical fault due to which it made an emergency landing on the fields alongside the Lehtrar Road.

However all passengers on board remained safe.

According to army aviation authorities three passengers were on board.

Sources said that the helicopter was on its routine training flight when the pilot noticed low power sign flashing on the switch board and made emergency landing. Sources told that due to timely thinking of the pilot a major catastrophe was averted. Soon after the incident rescue teams reached at the spot.
