ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved development of sector E-13, D-13 and F-13.

As per details, CDA has given approval of development of three sectors. CDA acquires the three sectors on the basis of land sharing.

The residents of Islamabad are very happy with CDA’s decision.

  1. I’ve been hearing this for atleast past 7 years now….I have my personal land there so I keep monitoring the news….CDA will not develop the sectors for another 10 years atleast because it don’t have the will to do so…….only the periodic statements from CDA are not enough to develop new sectors….what CDA is concerned about is its kick backs and salaries….problems of the citizens is no where in its list of priorities :-) …..when I bought land there DHA had launched its phase-II which has been developed since a long time and 40% plots there are now constructed…..our government and its institution are nothing but shame on the face of this country

  2. My land was acquired by CDA by the land sharing formula they have. It has been more then 2 years and i haven’t been compensated for the land. When i visited them they said that people whose land has been acquired previously are still waiting for their compensation so i am new to the list of those people. They need tons loads of bribe money to give us the compensation of the land they have already taken from us. Corruption is eating Pakistan up.

  3. Yeah you are right…..no one is sincere with this country…..government, judiciary, politicians, every one working for his own financial gains….there is no law to protect the rights of the common men. Every one is aware of the corruption that openly exists in the government departments, especially CDA …. the judiciary is too weak and unwilling to take any action against them….all you can hear from judiciary are comments which are not meant to be obeyed….there are no decisions whatsoever….Your land has been withheld and you have not been compensated but you can’t put your complaints at any forum….there is no one to address the public miseries.

  4. Me too have visited the CDA revenue department many times….Comparing the news published in papers, they tell a total different story….they tell that for the last 03 years, after announcing the award, CDA havn’t been able to compile the record yet and compensation to the affects in near future can only be put as a joke….when ever one visits the land revenue department, there is an army of the idle CDA land revenue staff trying its best to have some kick back from the visitors in some form, thats what they come there for.

  5. Another funny thing….CDA is claiming to launch the sectors in next 06 months but it has allocated no funds in its forth comming budget for compensating the owners….this reflects their true intentions

  6. When i visited the CDA revenue department. I was amazed by the confidence of CDA staff in asking for money. They said that they cannot find the file for my land. And this is handled by some other department. So to only find the file the official asked me for 1 lac. i found another guy who’s land was acquired and he even gave them around 80K and still wasn’t able to get anything. The situation is so worse that even if you give them money even then they won’t do anything.

  7. Corruption is a legalized practice in CDA. There is no accountability as every one working in CDA is exposed to the other person, so if you bite me I will bite you back. The judiciary on the other hand is too slow in taking any decisions….the cases stay unsolved for decades.

  8. CDA has now decided to flee from zone-1 as its incompetency has brought things out of its control, CDA has now decided to launch a scheme in Zone-IV namely “Park Enclave” for rich of the country where a 500 sq.yd plot will be sold for Rs. 15 million which shows the basic respnsibility of CDA is to earn revenues rather than providing residencical facilities to the low & middle class.. If CDA is not unable to develope a sector in zone-1 why doesn’t it declare it a free zone. At least it should remove the ban on sale & purchase as the owners are stuck, they are not getting payment from CDA and the developement of a sector there is not some thing CDA is capable of.

  9. hehehe, why Park Enclave is getting devloped first ???.The land pertaining to the enclave must be of some highly influential politician or something which CDA will be purchasing, like H-17, Islamabad :-) . Its all about corruption :-)

    1. Its been like 6 long years when I purchased the land in sector D-13. Now in 2011 after such a long time status is the same. There are a number of people struck in the same situation. We should contact supreme court to fulfill any of our two demands (i) Open transfer (Intakaal) of these acquired sectors as the rate in the open market wont be less than 1500K/Kanal to 2000K/Kanal due to complete development of Sector D-12 where a plot of 500 Yards is selling not less that a Crore.(ii) Direct CDA to give us allotment letter of the plots on land sharing formula so that we are be able to transfer our property.

  10. hahaha, there is a fraud of 6.8 billion rupees in replacement of street light, detail as under. Its prudent to fill your own pockets rather to spend it on the expansion of the city. CDA will always be in financial crunch :o )

“In a letter sent to the CDA chief on Saturday, TIP official Adil Gilani alleged that the CDA had awarded a contract of over Rs8 billion to a firm to replace 65,000 conventional streetlights with LED lights, market price of which, according to him, came to around Rs1.267 billion.

He says the company enjoys the backing of an influential person based in Islamabad.

Copies of the letter have been sent to the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee, Supreme Court, National Accountability Bureau, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority and Auditor General of Pakistan.

It claimed that the country would suffer a loss of over Rs6.8 billion under the contract.

The TIP official also urged the CDA to provide a copy of the contract to NAB in accordance with the relevant law.”

  11. CDA is a spoiled child of the country, nobody has the will and guts to behave it :-)

  12. i have 10 kanal 11 marla land in sector f 13 i hope we get compensated soon as i am losing patience,

    1. You will have to wait for another 15-20 years bad boy or till when your next generation takes your place :-) ……..Its CDA, where nothing changes :-) …..Committed to corruption !!!
